How do you know how long to take probiotics after antibiotics?

      Dear Margaret,

Thank you for reaching out with your question. There are no set guidelines and tons of variables. Generally, it would be best to take a probiotic in the same day as the antibiotic but many hours apart and then to continue on for several months afterwards. It partially depends on a person’s health, diet, how long they took antibiotics for, what their microbiome was like before taking antibiotics, etc. I’d recommend the Udo’s Choice Advanced Adult’s Probiotic for anyone 19+, just so they get a stronger formula to replenish with.

      Hope this helps!
